Why you're here

You've tried the treat pouch. The shock collar. The trainer who promised the world and left you with a thinner wallet and the same dog. You plan your walks around empty streets. You apologize to strangers. And somewhere along the way you started to believe this is just my life now. It isn't. The advice you got wasn't the full picture.

The three truths

"You cannot correct an emotion."

Your dog isn't giving you a hard time. Your dog is having a hard time. Punishing fear doesn't erase fear, it buries it. We change what your dog feels first, and the behavior follows.

"Dogs only do what works."

Every behavior you hate is being paid for somewhere, by someone. Find the paycheck, change the paycheck, and the behavior stops earning its keep. It's not magic. It's just math.

"Most behavior problems are leadership problems wearing a costume."

Your dog isn't broken. Your dog is unemployed, unsupervised, and making executive decisions. When you take the job back, most of the chaos quietly resigns.

The methodology

Not tricks. Not bribery. A system.

01 / Engagement first
Shepherd making eye contact in the rain

Engagement before obedience

A dog that won't look at you won't listen to you. Before we ask for a single command, we make you the most interesting thing in your dog's world. Everything else is built on that.

02 / Drive, not bribes
Black dog working in a creek

We don't bribe dogs

Treat-bribery buys you a behavior until something better shows up. We build real motivation that comes from the dog, so the work holds when the squirrel does show up.

03 / Proofed under pressure
Two dogs holding a down stay on a neighborhood street

Obedience that survives the real world

A sit in your kitchen is a party trick. A down stay while the neighbor's dog loses its mind across the street, that's functional obedience. We train for the street, not the kitchen.

04 / Thresholds, not floods
Two dogs settled calmly on place beds outdoors

Change the emotion under the behavior

We work your dog at the distance where their brain still works, and move the line closer week by week. That's how a reactive dog becomes a calm one, on purpose, not by luck.

Four pillars. One outcome. A dog you can take anywhere.

The trainer

Not a social-media trainer. A dog trainer.

I'm Brian Ferguson. For 25 years I've trained dogs for a living. Not for content. For a living. Over 4,000 of them have come through my hands, and every month 12 to 16 dogs live at my facility outside Nashville for board and train.

The dogs that come to me are the ones other trainers fired. The biters. The lungers. The ones on their last chance. Families drive from three states away and pay $375 an hour for my eyes on their dog. Serious behavior cases run $8,950 and up in person.

Real Dog Rehab exists because most of what I do in person can be coached through your phone. Same system. Same trainer. Your living room.

These are public Google reviews from families who brought their dogs to me in person. Real Dog Rehab is the same trainer, same system, coached through your phone instead of my kennel.

Path 01 / DIY

Real Dog Rehab Membership

The do-it-yourself path. You run my system at home with light guidance: the full step-by-step program, the community, and my eyes on your questions every single week. Starting as low as $67 a month, or $547 for the year. Less than most trainers charge for one hour.

01

Live coaching with me, every week

Bring your dog's ugliest problem to the weekly live Q&A and leave with a plan. I haven't missed one since we opened the doors.

02

The step-by-step behavior system

The same progression my $8,950 in-person clients get, broken into a path you can run at home. First 30 days mapped for you, then the real rehab work begins.

03

80+ hours of real case coaching

The vault. Real dogs, real owners, real fixes. Whatever your dog is doing, someone in there has already been walked through it.

04

Answers when you're stuck

Post what happened on today's walk and get a direct answer. No guessing for a week until your next session. Annual members also get my AI behavior assistant and quarterly workshops.

The average owner who lands here has already spent $5,000 plus on training that didn't work. The membership costs less per month than most of them charged per hour. Details are on the community page.

Path 02 / DWY Immersion

For the owners who want it handled.

The DIY path gives you the map. The Inner Circle is done-with-you: full immersion, daily coaching, my eyes on your dog, your videos, your plan. The closest thing to living at my facility without packing a crate.

There's a version of your life where the doorbell rings and nothing happens.

Where you walk at 5 p.m. like a normal person, past dogs, past strollers, past the neighbor who used to cross the street when he saw you coming.

Where your friends come over without a fifteen-minute briefing. Where the muzzle stays in the drawer. Where you stop scanning every corner and just... walk your dog.

That's the destination. The Inner Circle is the fast lane to it. Direct access to me, a plan built around your dog specifically, and the accountability to actually get there. Not more content. More me, pointed at your dog.

Families fly their dogs to Tennessee and invest five figures for this level of attention in person. The Inner Circle is how a small group of members gets it from home. It stays small on purpose, because my eyes don't scale.
